The Cutting Edge

I watched all 3 of The Cutting Edge movie. And I think it was a waste of my time, and their money for the production. The skatings were different, but the plot was nearly the same. It was all about someone getting injured, and that someone has to find another partner. And the partner were mostly hockey skaters, except for the second one, where Alex was a roller skater.

I personally like the second one best. It has a cute actor and a pretty actress. The main character was the daughter of the couples in the first movie so there was a slight continuation. The third movie wasn't a continuation of the previous ones. Sadly. Except Jackie Dorsey, who coached Alejandra and Zac. Pity Jackie broke up. I would have loved to see Alex and Jackie coaching the together. The second one is also not so much of a repeat of the first and third. The first and third were very very similar. Except that the girl didn't have any problem with partnering the guy in the third movie. There was a Pamchenko in the first and the third. They all fell in love with each other in the midst of skating in all three of the movies. All went to the Olympics. All got gold, I think, even though it wasn't shown them winning gold medal.

The three movies had a sense of deja vu about it. So I should give the first movie the most credit? After all it was the first one, it didn't have anything to copy.
